""It made me laugh when I saw this tree, because it's just like me!

At 73 I sometimes feel pretty ancient. I had my left leg removed below the knee after a bit of a pile up with a lorry on the M6 some years ago.

But hey, I'm still cheerful and living life to the full. I work part time at my local supermarket, funnily enough in the produce department (fruit & veg). This tree I have adopted is also a good producer of olives, so our lives are pretty much mirrored.

I love Greece, and Crete in particular, so next year I  have booked a villa in the olive grove where I will get to know 'my' tree a little better. Does that make me a tree hugger? Definately!"
